Brainspotting:

Unlocking your healing through the power of Focused Presence

At Inner Works Atelier, we offer Brainspotting as a powerful therapeutic modality that taps into the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Developed by Dr. David Grand, Brainspotting works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain, trauma or other challenging symptoms.

How Brainspotting Works

Brainspotting uses the field of vision to access “brainspots” – specific eye positions that correlate with areas in the brain where trauma or emotional distress is held. As we locate and focus on these spots, the brain begins to process and integrate experiences on a deep, often non-verbal level. The result is gentle, yet profound transformation.

A Practice Rooted in Safety, Connection and Cultural Sensitivity

In my work, I meet clients as whole individuals, honoring the complexity of their identities, histories and experiences. Whether you’re navigating intergenerational trauma, systemic distress or deeply personal wounds, Brainspotting offers a flexible and adaptable approach for long lasting transformation.

I integrate Brainspotting within a broader relational and trauma-informed framework. I am deeply committed to providing a culturally responsive space. Our sessions can be guided in multiple languages to ensure that each client feels seen, heard and respected regardless of background or life circumstances.

Who Can Benefit from Brainspotting?

• Individuals healing from trauma; including complex, developmental, or intergenerational trauma

• People facing fear, anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm

• Clients processing experiences of migration, displacement or identity exploration

• Artists, creatives, and professionals seeking to unlock blocks and increase flow

• Clients ready to connect more deeply to themselves in a compassionate and embodied way

If you’re curious about Brainspotting or wondering if it’s the right fit for you, I’d be honored to explore it with you in session.
